You Picked the WOD Day 4…...

The gym will be closed on Saturday due to the high volume of runners entered in Steve's Race. Following is the information for meeting times and places:

Hi Fellow Runners,
Well, the race is definitely upon us now. Remember that packet pick up and late registration is from 5-7pm on Friday at the historic train depot in downtown Dowagiac. Packets can also be picked up Saturday morning from 7am -8:30 am if you cant make it Friday to the Train Depot.
We would also like to have everyone that is running meet at the Train Depot Saturday morning so we can get a group picture. Race starts at 9:00 am sharp so we will meet at the train depot at 8:40. Thanks,

The following workout was submitted - after long consideration, we just left it like it was! Good luck to ALL of you.

WOD

John

21 weighted squats (M:70#, W:40#)
21 pull-ups
21 pushups
21 ring rows
21 sit-ups

15 weighted box steps (M:70#, W:40#)
15 push press (M:95#, W:65#)
15 ring dips
15 KB swings (M:55#, W:30#)
15 hollow rockers

9 weighted walking lunges (each leg) (M:70#, W:40#)
9 thrusters (M:95#, W65#)
9 CF burpees
9 box jumps
9 K2E

If not done Rx, athletes will do CF burpees until the last Rx athlete finishes

    In all honesty, this workout was amazing. I think my whole body is screaming

    OK soooo...just 3 things to say!!! John..I will deal with you later tongue wink Actually I loved it until the weighted box steps! I think that was the general concensus of the 8:30 class! Tara, I applaud you for your amazing organization of our large class and helping everyone get set up..that was definitely a warm up in itself! And Carole, my son loved your water themed kids class this morning! I think you wore him out though, we got back home at 10:00am and he put his pj's back on!!!
